VICTAULIC PRODUCTION PLANT & WAREHOUSE FACILITY

Industrial Construction

The Victualic production plant in Drezdenko is one of the most modern and environmentally friendly ductile iron foundries in Central and Eastern Europe. The complex was expanded with a new production plant and warehouse with a staff and office part of a total area of 23,277 square meters and cubic volume of 270,710 cubic meters made of steel weighing more than 815 tons. The facility is equipped with internal sanitary, sprinkler and mechanical VBW Engineering installations with a ventilation capacity exceeding 133,000 cubic meters per hour, as well as Siemens SIVACON S8 switchgear electrical installations with a capacity of up to 4 MW and low-current installations. The facility with its fire suppression installations and external infrastructure met the American FM Global standard, including exposure of the infrastructure to a once-in-a-hundred-years precipitation. Utility connections with an external rainwater drainage system with pipeline diameters up to DN2,000 mm and a pumping station with a capacity of 680 liters per second were also provided. The area around the building was also developed, including the construction of squares and road surfaces with a total area of 10,358 square meters. The contract also demanded that 140,000 cubic meters of land be replaced in the floodplain of the Noteć River to a depth of up to 6 meters, including drainage. Construction works were carried out on an active facility, paying extra attention to health and safety regulations.
